Returning to Nairobi, your journey continues to the world-famous Victoria Falls for scenic explorations, wildlife viewing, and relaxation at a luxury lodge. Seamlessly combining Kenya’s top safari destinations, Uganda’s rare primate experience, and Zimbabwe’s natural wonder, this itinerary delivers a rich blend of culture, wildlife, and spectacular landscapes across East and Southern Africa.
Day 1: Nairobi → Maasai Mara
Your journey begins at 7:00 am when you meet your safari guide in Nairobi. Drive along the scenic Great Rift Valley, stopping at viewpoints for photos before continuing to the world-famous Maasai Mara. Arrive in time for lunch at your camp, followed by an afternoon game drive. Explore the rolling savannah as you search for lions, elephants, giraffes, zebras, and cheetahs. Return to your camp for dinner and overnight.

Day 2: Full-Day Safari in Maasai Mara
Spend the day exploring the Mara on morning and afternoon game drives. Your guide will take you to prime wildlife areas, including predator-rich plains, riverbanks, and grazing zones where wildebeest and zebras gather. Depending on the season, you may witness the dramatic wildebeest migration. Optional experiences include a sunrise hot-air balloon safari or visiting a traditional Maasai village to learn about local culture.
Day 3: Maasai Mara Game Drive & Optional Activities
Continue your wildlife exploration with another early-morning game drive. This is the best time to spot predators returning from a night of hunting. Later, enjoy leisure time at the camp or participate in optional activities like guided nature walks or Maasai cultural visits. In the afternoon, take another game drive before returning for dinner and relaxation under the stars.
Day 4: Maasai Mara → Lake Nakuru
After breakfast, enjoy a cultural visit to a local Maasai village before departing for Lake Nakuru National Park. Enjoy a scenic drive with optional stops, such as a boat ride at Lake Naivasha. Arrive at Lake Nakuru for an afternoon game drive, where you can view flamingos (seasonal), both black and white rhinos, buffaloes, and over 400 bird species.

Day 7: Entebbe → Bwindi Forest (Flight via Kihihi)
Take a morning flight to Kihihi Airstrip, where your guide will transfer you to Bwindi Impenetrable Forest. Enjoy the scenic drive through rolling hills and tea plantations. Settle into your luxury lodge and relax as you prepare for the next day’s gorilla trek.

Day 8: Gorilla Trekking in Bwindi Forest
After an early breakfast, head to the park headquarters for a briefing before beginning your gorilla trek. Depending on the location of the gorilla family, the trek may take 2–5 hours. Once found, spend one full hour observing the rare mountain gorillas—an unforgettable wildlife encounter. Return to the lodge for relaxation and dinner.
Day 9: Bwindi → Entebbe → Nairobi
After breakfast, transfer back to Kihihi Airstrip for your flight to Entebbe, then connect to Nairobi. Check in at your Nairobi hotel for overnight rest.
