3 Days Amboseli National Park Safari
Day 1: Nairobi to Amboseli National Park – Afternoon Game Drive
Your adventure begins with an early morning pick-up from your hotel or airport in Nairobi. After a short briefing, depart for Amboseli National Park, enjoying scenic views of the Great Rift Valley and Maasai homelands. Arrive at your lodge/camp in time for lunch and a short rest. In the afternoon, head out for your first game drive across Amboseli’s vast open plains, famous for enormous herds of elephants and stunning views of Mount Kilimanjaro (weather permitting). Look out for lions, cheetahs, buffalo, hyenas, giraffes, and a variety of plains game. Return to your lodge for dinner and an overnight stay.
Day 2: Full-Day Amboseli Exploration – Morning & Afternoon Game Drives
Start your day with an early morning game drive, the best time to capture breathtaking views of Mount Kilimanjaro and spot predators as they are most active at dawn. Explore Amboseli’s beautiful landscapes, including swamps fed by underground streams where elephants gather to bathe and graze. Return for breakfast and enjoy leisure time at the lodge, followed by lunch. In the afternoon, continue with another extensive game drive, visiting iconic areas such as Observation Hill, which offers panoramic views of the park’s plains, swamps, and wildlife. Later, return to your lodge for dinner, storytelling by the fire, and overnight rest.
Day 3: Sunrise Game Drive – Return to Nairobi
Begin with a final early morning game drive to maximize your chances of seeing wildlife before the heat of the day. Capture last moments with the majestic elephants and, if lucky, an early-morning glimpse of Kilimanjaro’s snow-capped peak. Return to the lodge for breakfast, check out, and begin your journey back to Nairobi. Arrive in the afternoon and drop off at your preferred location—hotel, residence, or airport—marking the end of a memorable Amboseli safari adventure.
