Arrive in the afternoon and proceed to the camp for check-in and lunch. After some rest, have an evening game drive in the reserve filled with scenic beauty. The reserve is renowned for its unique species of animals, which include the Somali Ostrich, Reticulated Giraffe, Beisa Oryx, Gerenuk, and Grevys Zebra, among others. Though it’s a rather dry area and has rough terrain, it is blessed with very rare species only found here, some of them being reticulated giraffes, grevy’s zebras, beisa oryxes, birds like the blue-necked ostrich, and many more. Also, you may have the chance to come across the big five. Some of the good places to spot the animals are around the Ewaso Nyiro River, where they quench their thirst while the carnivores take advantage and hunt the weak. At sunset, you will return to the camp for dinner and overnight.

Other Savannah games are abounded in and do not mention other bird species. Lake Nakuru Lodge, situated in the south ecological niche of the park, is an oasis of comfort with a commanding view of lesser flamingoes dotted with the greater flamingoes.
