8 Days, 7 Nights, Kenya Safari
Day 1: Nairobi-Samburu National Reserve
You will be met by our African Outback representative in your Nairobi hotel or airport, meet and greet, and have a short briefing before later departing for Samburu National Reserve. Arrive in the afternoon and proceed to the camp for check-in and lunch. After some rest, have an evening game drive in the reserve filled with scenic beauty. The reserve is renowned for its unique species of animals, which include the Somali Ostrich, Reticulated Giraffe, Beisa Oryx, Gerenuk, and Grevys Zebra, among others. Later, return to your camp for dinner and overnight.

Day 2: Samburu Full Day
Enjoy full-day game drives in the reserve, being on the lookout for special flora and fauna found in this place. Though it’s a rather dry area and has rough terrain, it is blessed with very rare species only found here, some of them being reticulated giraffes, grevy’s zebras, beisa oryxes, birds like the blue-necked ostrich, and many more. Also, you may have the chance to come across the big five. Some of the good places to spot the animals are around the Ewaso Nyiro River, where they quench their thirst while the carnivores take advantage and hunt the weak. At sunset, you will return to the camp for dinner and overnight.

Day 3: Samburu – Mt Kenya:
After breakfast at the lodge, depart for Mount Kenya. The afternoon will be spent at leisure, whereby you can take a nature walk to climb a bit of Mt. Kenya and then back to the lodge for dinner and overnight.

Day 4: Mount Kenya—Lake Nakuru
After breakfast, drive past Nyahururu Falls and into the Rift Valley. Lunch at Nakuru town, afternoon game viewing drive in Lake Nakuru National Park Lake Nakuru is home to millions of flamingoes, beautifully lining its shores. Lake Nakuru National Park surrounds the lake and was created to protect the colony of flamingoes as well as provide sanctuary for endangered species, such as the rhino. Other Savannah games are abounded in and do not mention other bird species. Lake Nakuru Lodge, situated in the south ecological niche of the park, is an oasis of comfort with a commanding view of lesser flamingoes dotted with the greater flamingoes. An afternoon game drive around the lakeshore will be the feature for the afternoon, dinner, and overnight stay at Lake Nakuru Lodge.

Day 5: Lake Nakuru-Masai Mara
After breakfast, you will have an en-route game drive as you depart for Masai Mara. You will arrive at noon and have an en-route game drive as you proceed for lunch at Sarova Mara Camp. After some rest, head out for the evening game drive, the best time to catch the cats as they crawl out from their shadows, ready to make their next kill for the night. Returning to the lodge as darkness sets for dinner and overnight

Day 6: Masai Mara Full Day
The day will start with an early morning game drive before dawn and later return to your camp for breakfast. Relax for the rest of the late morning and perhaps take a dip at the swimming pool. Later, in the late afternoon, return to the wilderness in search of games, all meals, and overnight at Sarova Mara Tented Camp.

Day 7: Masai Mara-Lake Naivasha
Early morning breakfast after departing for a morning game; thereafter, proceed to Lake Naivasha, arriving in time for check-in and lunch. After lunch, go for an afternoon boat ride to Crescent Island. Enjoy a 2-hour boating and fishing ride in the lake as you watch the hippos and thousands of bird species. Crescent Island is a private sanctuary offering a home to many wildlife. Guests can have a guided nature walk inside the sanctuary while on foot, thus making it a perfect place to see the wild animals while on foot. Dinner and overnight at Crescent Camp

Day 8: Lake Naivasha – Nairobi
Arise for breakfast and depart for Hell’s Gate National Park. It’s the only national park in Kenya that you can explore on foot and is named ‘Hell’s Gate’ due to powerful forces shaping the national park from below. Dramatic volcanic rocky outcrops, obsidian caves, spitting geysers, rock towers, sandstone cliffs, and water-gouged gorges are what make this park worth visiting, and this will conclude your safari tour. Have lunch at Crescent Camp and head back to Nairobi, with brief stops along the way at the Rift Valley Escarpment. Arrive in Nairobi mid-afternoon. Onward drop-off transfer to the JKIA International Airport for your flight home or drop-off at your overnight hotel
