Whether you’re joining us for a wildlife safari, a cultural experience, or a beach holiday, the following details will help you understand what to expect before you arrive.

Kenya

  • All visitors require an eVisa, applied for online at https://evisa.go.ke.
  • Your passport must be valid for at least six months from the date of entry.
  • Citizens of East African Community (EAC) countries can enter visa-free.


Tanzania

  • Tourist visas can be obtained online at https://eservices.immigration.go.tz/visa or upon arrival at major entry points.
  • Passport validity must be six months minimum.
  • Multi-entry or East African Tourist Visa available for combined safaris.

 

Uganda

 

Recommendation

  • Apply for visas at least two weeks before travel.
  • Carry printed copies of approvals for border verification.
  • Yellow Fever vaccination is mandatory for travelers arriving from or transiting through endemic countries.
  • Recommended vaccinations: Typhoid, Hepatitis A & B, and Tetanus.
  • Malaria prevention: Consult your doctor for anti-malarial medication and pack mosquito repellent.
  • Drink only bottled or filtered water during your trip.
  • Travel insurance with medical evacuation coverage is strongly recommended.

Kenya & Tanzania

  • Peak Season: June – October (dry season, best wildlife viewing).
  • Green Season: November – March (lush landscapes, fewer crowds, excellent birding).
  • Short Rains: November and December.
  • Long Rains: April and May (some lodges may close temporarily).

Uganda

  • Best Gorilla Trekking Months: June – September and December – February.
  • Weather is mild year-round due to high altitude.

  • Lightweight, neutral-colored clothing (avoid bright colors for game drives).
  • Warm jacket or fleece for cool mornings and evenings.
  • Wide-brim hat, sunglasses, and sunscreen.
